Ordinarily, I wouldn't have commented on this issue of Mr UDOM Emmanuel allegedly giving out 4million naira to Mr Kufre Carter et al to thwart a peaceful protest against injustice, oppression, and the highest level of corruption experienced by ordinary Nigerians, but it will be total cowardice of me if I refused to ask questions and also highlights very many hypocritic standpoints displayed by those who feel that they are smarter in sycophancy, betrayal and stupidity.
As long as Kufre Carter did wrong in even accepting to go to Eni Store to collect a disagreed amount ( Kufre's version, 5,00.000. Public version, 4 million Naira) of money just to abort the peaceful demonstration, it is down on those making the loudest noise to tell themselves the truth if they have not done worst than this.
Before I proceed further, I want to make it very clear that my viewpoint is not to hold any brief for Mr Kufre Carter's poor self comportment when dealing with issues of money but to rather throw light on people seeking attention in the name throwing punches in the air.
Kufre Carter has been heavily leashed for betraying the collective bargaining of the general public in times like this when they needed a Messiah to lead them out of this hell they called Nigeria.
At the same time, it is totally bemoaning to see and read through newsfeed how hypocritic some post attacking Kufre Carter can be.
It is high time people looked inward to wash their inner sins before going on a rampage to score a cheap point on delicate issues of public concern like this.
So many of those making noise have collected what others collectively fought for and swallowed the same, even to heavier tune than the trending.
Instead of channelling all our energy to criticize how aggrieved we are in the afore raised case, why not ask ourselves resilient questions like what will be at the end of the protest.
If we are called to the negotiation table, what will be our short term and long term achievable demands?
From the turn of events, is this protest a collective interest of all and sundry in the country? If the government is planning on using force to exterminate the sincere yearning of the youths, what will be the next line of action?
Etc...
The #EndSars protest is a supermarket where all Nigerian problems are sold but we should know what to pick at the shelf for I know that #EndSARS shouldn't be the first on the shopping cart. We have myriads of issues facing us as a people and we need to prioritize them accordingly.
Let's not forget what we have been facing, for if after now no change is registered in this country, we should forget about ever being a Nigerian citizen.
I rest my case!
