THE WOMAN IN YOU.

Don't leave it behind.

Cardi was a woman of class and great taste for fashion trends in her days as a single lady.

She didn't just only have knowledge of what was invoked but she also had the best way of putting together good appearance any time any day.

From clothes she wore, her perfumes, hair do and even how she walked, summed up beauty and elegance.

This beauty was always iced up with an exquisite appearance that caught all necks turning at her glance each time.

She was what could be described as beauty in a complete package.

Cardi  had met Max her husband (to be) in a eatery where she went for lunch while she was working in the bank.

Max, her man was  a guy of class too who was very handsome and well to do.

He was fond of girls of high class and every girl he had had an affair with in the past, had class as her advantage.

It was his taste for women of class that had  made Cardi caught his attention at the eatery that day and from there they developed a bond that soon afterwards led to marriage.

In their early days in marriage, Cardi was at her best for the husband, Max, that whenever he was at work, he will think of returning home to meet his jewel, Cardi.

The marriage was a blend of what anyone could wish for, as both spouses were a dream come true for each other.

Most times whenever they were on outings, they were source of inspiration for those who long for marriage.

Soon after one year into marriage, Cardi put to bed a baby girl.

Her new adventure in motherhood saw Cardi forgot the girl she was.

Her fashion taste declined drastically and she became a bit old fashioned.

She paid less attention to herself and lost great sense of a modern woman who Max, her husband got married to a year ago.

She was loose at all times with an unkept hair, wrapper tye on her near fallen breast and she hardly wore perfumes as she used to do.

Her thoughts was always on domestic responsibilities and she completely abandoned the classy lady she was in her single days.

At a point, Max became so worried with his wife lost of fashioned sense compare to how he met her years ago.

He made several attempt to assist her return to her old self but all efforts were fruitless and often times Cardi will remind him that she was now a mother whose priority is to take care of her baby, keep the family and meet the demands of motherhood.

As days goes by, Cardi noticed changes in her husband's attitude towards her.

The once sweet marriage became soured as Max became a bit detached from the wife.

Every new day was birthed with problems as they accused themselves of not meeting the demand of marriage.

Days ran into months and soon Max became a new person entirely.
He barely had time for his wife as he saw nothing so interesting in her.

His attitude got Cardi thinking of what could have been the problem, not knowing that Max had found another Cardi, a replica of the girl she was years ago.

NOTE TO OUR WOMEN.

Don't make the  mistake of not keeping up with the woman you were when your spouse met you.

Remember it was something that attracted you to him.

Wear makeup if that's what he loves.

Wear your perfumes.

Dress well at all times, and sexy when alone with your man.

Leave the "EKA UDO" kind of life as much as you will want him to leave ADIEU MAMA Polo.

Keep the tempo of that first love beating.

And never allow your spouse wish for those old times you guys met.

DON'T LEAVE WHEN IT IS TOO LATE.

The story . Udauk was too weak to continue with the evening chores around the house because of her pregnancy. She bent over the kitchen cabinet in search of a tuber of yam she was to prepare before her husband returned from work. At the point of stretching her hands to reach the tuber of yam under the cabin, she felt a sharp pain down her abdomen. Her left lap was swollen from the beating she got the previous night from the monster's husband. She was still short of three months from her due month. That's when she was to put to birth. The shape pain was accompanied by a loud scream. She dropped the knife she had with her and tried to settle on a table-size stool lying close to the gas cylinder in the kitchen, but she couldn't. She fell and started screaming, reached out to her phone, and dialed her husband. Mr. Sam had branched  Madam G's Native Kitchen to settle for a while before heading home as his habit demands. He was busy at his usual joint with a bottle of chill

JOURNEY OF NO RETURN.

The story. The atmosphere was heavy, that of apprehension and uncertainty as Iquo stared at the open space leading into the compound. It was around 10:33pm that evening.  A time in Ikot Ekim community when every household had put off their lamps and retired to bed. The nocturnal sound of night creatures made the night even more looming and intense.  Nsek has never stayed out so late no matter how fierce any argument with his wife was. In their 24 years of marriage, no matter the nature of the fights Iquo has had with her husband he will always come back home to rest in his hut.  As time ticked away, she stared at the open compound, struggling to fend off the call of nature with the hope her husband would appear at the far end of the compound.  Using her hand to support her chin, she wondered how things could change so fast. Her husband Nsek was no longer the man she married. He picked fights at every little argument and would end the night with curses, accusing Iquo of turning his on
